1st Yeovil Boys’ Brigade
The Company was formed in 1891. It is the oldest company within the Somerset Battalion and it is one of the few companies that has run continually uninterrupted even during major global events. The aims of the Boys’ Brigade are to help and encourage boys to grow up with self discipline, self respect and to learn something of Christian knowledge and values.
During the winter session there is a Church Parade once a month on the 2nd Sunday to which all sections are warmly invited.
The Brigade offers an opportunity to make new friends try different skills take part in competitions and it encourages boys to gain awards and to take part in The Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
All the staff in the Brigade have had training and have been CRB checked.
We meet at Yeovil Baptist Church, Petters Way Yeovil.
Any parent or boys interested in joining are welcome to call in on a Wednesday evening
between 6:30 pm -
